On Monday, February 26, the first day of the Womenswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 Paris Fashion Week, CFCL presented its first runway show since joining the official calendar in 2022, at the Saut du Loup in the Palais de Tokyo. The simple straight lines of the runway were filled by the tense melody of a string quartet created by Hristina Šušak, a contemporary music composer from Serbia. Sporty set-ups and dresses that can be worn on any occasion intersected the runway, expressing a variety of styles with a gradual transition into everyday life.

Knit-ware
Cadence

A gradation of gender, a variety of body sizes. Knitwear has an inclusive nature of accepting the individuality of each person. Sensing the potential of this material, CFCL has been developing a new concept by referring to the word ware, a term used for vessels with functionality.

The theme of VOL.8 is “Cadence.” Practical clothing, stripped of excessive ornamentation, creates a rhythm that enriches our daily lives. From the start of your day to night, from weekdays to holidays. Each day is a sequence of tension and relaxation, and clothing gently supports all of them. Focusing on modest elegance that can accompany any moment, we propose Knit-ware for a contemporary life with cadence.

ACETATE MILAN
The MILAN RIB series, characterized by a sophisticated luster from high-gauge acetate and recycled polyester, fits into the rhythmic scenes of daily life, seamlessly transitions from everyday to formal occasions. The double-breasted dinner jacket has been simplified, featuring just one button and seam pockets. The apron dress is made of an extremely simple construction that creates a silhouette only by ribbing a rectangular flat pattern.

MESH
The lightweight, sporty mesh texture is made of water-repellent recycled polyester in a computer programming-aided knitting. The fencing jacket is knitted with continuous ribbing at the back waist, incorporating functionality into an elegant, sporty style. The addition of padded quilting as a lining offers a warm and vivacious style. LOOK #3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13
HYPHA
The HYPHA series has a finely knitted stripe structure that gives a different impression depending on the angle of view, like a lenticular pattern. The seamless darts by computer programming create a fitted and distant three-dimensional shape in the knitted fabric state. The bomber jacket is tailored in a voluminous cocoon silhouette, while the tailored jacket has a bold, structured peplum with a marked waist. LOOK #14, 15, 16, 26
VELOUR
The series features a thick, velour knit with raised texture, providing warmth even in the harsh winter. POTTERY and MILAN RIB, the brand's signature series, are also knitted by mixing rayon braid yarn to obtain a new texture that has luster and is soft to the touch. The wrap- style setup, with its single-layer edge unique to computer programming knit, gives a light and airy impression.

ENCHANT
The ENCHANT series is eye-catching with its sparkling expression. Craftsmen take the time to hand-sew sequins one by one on clothes that are contrarily output without human intervention, like a 3D printer. The dress and T-shirt with two types of round sequins - glossy and matte - layered together, illuminate everyday styling and are versatile for dressing up.

*All series have no cutting process during production, minimizing waste generation.
