On Monday, February 26, the first day of the Womenswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 Paris Fashion Week, CFCL presented its first runway show since joining the official calendar in 2022, at the Saut du Loup in the Palais de Tokyo. The simple straight lines of the runway were filled by the tense melody of a string quartet created by Hristina Šušak, a contemporary music composer from Serbia. Sporty set-ups and dresses that can be worn on any occasion intersected the runway, expressing a variety of styles with a gradual transition into everyday life.
Cadence
A gradation of gender, a variety of body sizes. Knitwear has an inclusive nature of accepting the individuality of each person. Sensing the potential of this material, CFCL has been developing a new concept by referring to the word ware, a term used for vessels with functionality.
The theme of VOL.8 is “Cadence.” Practical clothing, stripped of excessive ornamentation, creates a rhythm that enriches our daily lives. From the start of your day to night, from weekdays to holidays. Each day is a sequence of tension and relaxation, and clothing gently supports all of them. Focusing on modest elegance that can accompany any moment, we propose Knit-ware for a contemporary life with cadence.
