PORCELAIN POTTERY: Serving Forms
CFCL has collaborated with Hataman Touen, a kiln with over 350 years of history and craftsmanship in Imari porcelain, known for its pursuit of original material development and innovative techniques, to direct a new tableware series, PORCELAIN POTTERY.
While drawing on time-honored techniques, the collection is designed with contemporary use in mind. It features carefully considered proportions and a minimalist form without painted decoration, allowing the natural texture of the porcelain to emerge. Its sculptural silhouette is inspired by CFCL’s signature POTTERY SKIRT.
Like styling clothing, it proposes composing the table. Crossing the boundaries between fashion and lifestyle, the series brings a new sense of attire to everyday living.
Here, through the hands of culinary practitioners across disciplines, we explore new ways to express each vessels.
